Hey y'all! It's been a long time, but I'm finally back.
I've acquired quite a bit of jewelry since my last entry, so it might take me a while to post everything on here. But I'm determined to make it happen.
On another note... I'm going to Puerto Rico next week! Can't wait to go and be able to celebrate in my amazing friend's wedding. Very exciting. Of course there's also the beach, the sun, the food and the jewelry! And definitely can't forget the rum ;)
Which means I'll be posting more entries and pictures soon. Can't wait :)

Patrick Irla Jewelry
I was doing my research (trolling through Etsy), when I happened upon Patrick Irla Jewelry.
This is definitely my style. Small, delicate gold and silver jewelry with a focus on flowers, which I absolutely love.
The jewelry is a little over my budget, but it's the kind that makes me want to save up so I can get it. Or add it to my Christmas wish list and see if that works. While the website itself doesn't yield much (www.patricirla.com), his profile on Etsy provides something beautiful to look at.
A few of my favorite items:

Hydrangea Drop Earrings, Blue Topaz, Sterling and 18k Gold - $229
And for a little added spunk...
Make sure to take a look yourself! http://www.etsy.com/people/PatrickIrlaJewelry

México, lindo y querido
Mexico's independence day is in three days! So in honor of the great country, I have pictures from my trip to Cuernavaca, Acapulco and Taxco.
Cuernavaca:
This house was a few blocks down the mountain from my grandmother's house. I love the colors and angle. This is not at all unusual in Mexico.
Acapulco:
A piña colada while at a beautiful beach. What else is there to say?
Taxco:
One of the most beautiful towns I've seen. I definitely beginning to fall in love with mountains. And just walking around was such a workout!
Taxco, known for its silver, provided a lot of gorgeous earrings. They're made with shell pieces and real turquoise:

These are my favorite earrings. Until I put these on:

This necklace has a story. My grandma gave it to me and said she had been saving it... since the 60s when it belonged to my mom. Above the earrings, bracelet or anything else, this is my treasured item.
I'm not sure when I'm going back to Mexico, but I hope soon. Now I have to figure out where in Mexico I'm going next. Cancun, Guadalajara, Merida, Mexico City...
¡VIVA MÉXICO!

Que Felicidad!
In honor of my upcoming trip to Mexico (I leave tomorrow!), I'm going to write this whole entry in Spanish.
JUST KIDDING!
I am excited about going to Mexico though. My family is from Cuernavaca, Morelos which is a little less than an hour southwest of Mexico City. I'm leaving Wednesday afternoon to spend an awesome week with my family, whom I haven't seen in four years. Cuernavaca is known as "La Cuidad de la Eterna Primavera," or "The City of the Eternal Spring." How exciting!
The most exciting aspect of this trip though..
Going to Taxco! A picturesque town due to it's hills and plant life, but it's mainly known for its silver. I absolutely cannot wait to go jewelry shopping. Earrings, necklaces, bracelets, oh my! To be honest, jewelry isn't all I'm going to buy. Also on my list: purses, chess set (for my boo), a hammock and who knows what else!
If you know of anything I should do/see while I'm there, please share!
Many (many) pictures to come.
Buenas noches. Los veo cuando regrese de Cuernavaca! Besos!

My First New Items
Shortly before I lost all of my accessories I got really into gold plated jewelry, especially if it had some white in there too. So of course, as soon as I saw this wrap around bracelet from ALDO, I knew it was mine.

I am extremely satisfied with my new fashion jewelry, but I'll be keeping an eye out for more.

Luckily for me, they were having a 2 for 1 deal, which prompted me quickly hand this gold and silver one to the cashier. I ended up paying less than $15 for both.

Now being, momentarily, stocked up on bracelets I'm still missing A LOT of earrings. I figured I wait until I found something that took my breathe away. But there was no need to wait - I received a lovely gift from a lovely lady, these Jessica Simpson earrings:

My First Entry!
Hello World!
Through an unfortunate event, I have recently lost all my jewelry. Though very few pieces were of any actual monetary value, there were all very dear to me. I love costume jewelry, so I had a lot of fantastic pieces!
The purpose of this blog is to chronicle my search for new accessories. Before I officially start though, I want to remind you that the title of this blog is "I Want It!" so a few other things might show up, like handbags, shoes, clothes, etc. I like things, I want them, I get them...
